Text back every missed call within a minute

When a call goes unanswered, the caller gets a friendly text right away asking what they need, and you get the reply with a suggested next step.

How it works

  1. Your phone system flags a missed call and sends the caller’s number to the workflow.
  2. The AI writes a short, human-sounding text that names your business and asks what they need and when.
  3. The reply lands in your CRM or inbox with a summary and a suggested booking time.
  4. You or your front desk take it from there; the AI never quotes prices or promises availability.

The guardrail

A person reviews every reply and makes all pricing and scheduling commitments; the AI only opens the conversation and stops after one message unless the customer replies.

Tools that do this: Twilio or your existing business phone (OpenPhone, RingCentral), n8n or Make, an LLM (Claude or OpenAI), your CRM (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Jobber)

Prompt to start with
You write text messages for [business name], a [type of business] in [city]. A caller just missed us at [time]. Write one friendly SMS under 300 characters that: says sorry we missed the call, asks what they need help with, and offers to find a time that works. Do not quote prices, promise availability, or mention AI. Sound like a real person at the front desk. Return only the message text.
